Nigeria witnessed a cascade of felicitations as citizens from diverse backgrounds extended warm wishes to Akin Okudero, the esteemed CEO of PR Primus, who marked his 64th birthday on March 25, 2024.

Akin Okudero, a distinguished Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR), has been hailed as an “inspiration,” a reservoir of knowledge, and a beacon of integrity in the realm of Public Relations. His invaluable contributions to the field have earned him widespread admiration and respect.

Chief Tola Adeniyi, an eminent figure in the media landscape, lauded Okudero as “impactful” and deserving of celebration for his exceptional contributions to Public Relations.

Dr. Peter Oyeneye, CEO of the Advanced Management Academy, described Okudero as a passionate advocate for all things PR, emphasizing his deep commitment to the profession.

Emmanuel Adeniran, a seasoned PR practitioner, commended Okudero’s sagacity and unwavering passion for the intricacies of PR, noting his resilience in the face of challenges.

The outpouring of praise extended beyond individual testimonials, with luminaries such as Professor Felix Salako, Chief Bidemi Osunbiyi, and Mrs. Yetunde Kujore joining in to honor Okudero’s legacy.

In his response, Okudero expressed gratitude for the heartfelt messages and pledged to redouble his efforts in advancing the frontiers of Public Relations.

He emphasized the urgent need for leveraging technology to enhance advocacy efforts and drive positive change in governance and national development.

Dr. Ike Neliaku, President and Chairman of Council at NIPR, urged stakeholders to rally behind initiatives like the upcoming Nigeria Public Relations Week, led by Chief Yomi Badejo-Okusanya.

Scheduled from April 22nd to 26th, 2024, at the Cultural Centre in Abeokuta, this event aims to align with the global PR goals set forth by the Global Alliance for Public Relations and Management.
