    NIPR Week 2024 Holds Monday, Promises Economic, Reputation Revitalisation

    The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) is gearing up to catalyze Nigeria’s economic and reputation Renaissance with the inaugural Nigeria Public Relations Week (NPRW 2024).

     Chairman, PR and Stakeholders Sub-Committee, Akin Okudero, in a statement issued said the event  set to unfold from Monday, April 22 to Friday, April 26, at the iconic June 12 Cultural Center in Abeokuta, Ogun State is supported by the Ogun State Government.

    He added that  the historic event, themed “Leveraging Public Relations as a Critical Asset for Nigeria’s Economic and Reputation Renaissance,” is poised to unite public relations professionals, policymakers, industry leaders, academia, and the media in a concerted effort to propel Nigeria forward.

    According to him, Nigeria Public Relations Week serves as a platform to underscore the indispensable role of public relations in driving economic growth and bolstering Nigeria’s global standing.

    He stated that the event is  centered on harnessing strategic communication to advance the nation adding that it aims to foster dialogue, knowledge exchange, and collaboration among stakeholders.

    Okudero explained further that attendees can anticipate a diverse array of programmes designed to delve into the multifaceted dimensions of public relations and its impact on socio-economic development.

    He said from keynote speeches to interactive workshops, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, the week-long event pledges to deliver invaluable insights, pragmatic strategies, and actionable solutions to elevate the practice of public relations in Nigeria.

    He added that Chairman of the Planning Committee, Yomi Badejo-Okusanya, expressed optimism about NPRW 2024’s potential to leave a lasting impression on delegates. 

    He stated, “We eagerly anticipate hosting delegates at the inaugural Nigeria Public Relations Week, where we will embark on a transformative journey to harness the power of public relations for Nigeria’s economic and reputation renaissance. 

    PLATFORM TIMES reports that with a diverse lineup of programmes, delegates can expect enriching experiences that will ignite innovation, foster collaboration, and drive positive change across the country.”
