The Nigeria National League (NNL), has released the new fixtures for the 2024-25 season.
The NNL has also picked the clash between Abakaliki FC and Madiba FC as the star match of the opening weekend.
The draw was held at the indoor hall of the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne.
In other fixtures in Conference A, First Bank of Lagos will host Osun United with Gateway of Abeokuta meeting Godswill Akpabio FC just as Kun Khalifa of Owerri will play host to Emalex of Owo and Abakaliki FC meeting Madiba FC.
In the Southern Conference B, Smart City Edel FC met Abia Comets, I472 will host Igbado FC, Beyond Fc will host Dakkada, Warri Wolves will square up with Crown FC, while Ijele hosts Inter Lagos.
In some of the Conference C and D matches, Sokoto FC will host Abuja based Mailantaeki Care, Zamfara plays Wikki Tourists, Kebbi United hosts Sporting Supreme, while Barau FC welcomes Mighty Jets to Kano.
The league’s chairman, George Aluo said the draw rijig became necessary following discussion with stakeholders of the league.
“We are doing our best to ensure the new season is even better than the last one,” Aluo stated after the draw ceremony.
The new season will commence on November 30.
