The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has adjusted the date for the matchday 9 fixture involving Lobi Stars and Bayelsa United.
The match, which was originally scheduled for the Lafia City Stadium, on Saturday, October 26, has been moved to Monday October 28 at the same venue.
The new date was confirmed in a statement by Lobi Stars on their X account.
The match was moved due to the Governor’s Cup finals slated for the venue.
The statement reads: “We wish to inform you that our Matchday 9 clash against Bayelsa United, initially set for today, Saturday, October 26th, has been rescheduled to Monday, October 28th, still at the Lafia City Stadium with a 4:00 PM kickoff,”
“This adjustment is due to the Governor’s Cup finals being held at the venue today.
“We appreciate your understanding and look forward to your unwavering support as we continue our journey together.”
Lobi Stars have endured a slow start to the campaign with one win, three draws and four defeats.
