Nasarawa United technical Director, Kabiru Dogo has expressed satisfaction with his team’s victory over Kano Pillars.

The Solid Miners defeated Kano Pillars 1-0 in their matchday nine encounter at the Lafia City Stadium on Sunday.

Anas Yusuf bagged the winning goal for the Solid Miners.

Dogo believes his team should have scored more goals in the game.

“We are very happy for this victory, our second at home this season. This is very massive for everyone in Nasarawa State, “Dogo stated in a post-match interview.

“It’s a result nobody expected us to get, especially going by the array of highly experienced players that Kano Pillars paraded, like Ahmed Musa, Shehu Abdullahi and Rabiu Ali(Pele), but glory be to God that we won at last.

“We would have recorded about three goals because we dominated them in all facets and squandered some glorious chances, however, we are still comfortable with the one goal win which also equals three points.”
