The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) have announced a new date for the rescheduled matchday 3 fixture involving Enyimba and Akwa United.
The game which was initially billed to take place on Sunday, September 22 will now be played on Wednesday, October 2nd.
The encounter will be played at the Enyimba International Stadium, Aba.
The NPFL chief operating officer, Davidson Owumi announced the new date in a letter to the affected clubs.
The game was moved due to Enyimba’s CAF Confederation Cup second preliminary round reverse leg tie against Etoile Filante on Saturday.
The match will be played at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
Enyimba played a goalless draw with the Burkina Faso side in Mali last Friday.
