    Odemuyiwa, Pillar Of Ogun’s Educational Advancement -Ogun Govt

    Ogun State government has described the late Prof. Joseph Odemuyiwa, former Special Adviser on Vocational and Technical Education,as a pillar of the state’s educational landscape.

    The government paid tribute to the family of late former Special Adviser, emphasising Odemuyiwa’s  pivotal role in the state. 

    Speaking during a condolence visit to the deceased’s residence in Isara Remo, the state Governor, Dapo  Abiodun fondly recalled Odemuyiwa’s profound impact and described him as an irreplaceable asset to his administration.

     Abiodun expressed deep sorrow over the tragic loss, stating that Odemuyiwa’s contributions extended far beyond his immediate family, resonating with colleagues, friends, and the entire state community. 

    Represented by his deputy, Noimot Salako-Oyedele, the Governor praised Odemuyiwa’s unwavering dedication and diligence while serving as a member of his Cabinet. 

    He emphasised Odemuyiwa’s instrumental role in advancing the administration’s ambitious agenda to elevate the education sector to unprecedented heights.

      Abiodun urged the bereaved family to take comfort in the knowledge that Odemuyiwa lived a purposeful life, offering prayers for divine strength to endure the profound loss.

    Hon. Felix Fajobi, speaking on behalf of the family, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support from the state government and the wider community.

     He emphasised Odemuyiwa’s multifaceted contributions across various sectors, portraying him as a revered figure whose legacy transcended governmental boundaries. 

    Fajobi highlighted Odemuyiwa’s enduring impact on the political, academic, and religious spheres, as well as his invaluable contributions to community development.

    In a parallel narrative, Governor Abiodun mourned the passing of another cultural icon, Pa Jimi Solanke, renowned for his literary prowess and captivating storytelling.

     During a visit to Solanke’s residence in Ipara Remo, the Governor lauded Solanke’s artistic legacy, commemorating his significant contributions as a musician, actor, and dramatist.

    Also  represented by Salako-Oyedele,  Abiodun hailed Solanke as a custodian of Nigeria’s cultural heritage, promising government support to preserve his rich legacy for future generations.
