Owu Kingdom Gears Up For Economic Transformation As Boiling Point Media,  Lead Resources Collaborate

In a significant move aimed at driving economic progress in the Owu communities, Boiling Point Media has partnered with Lead Resources, a financial services company.

The collaboration, a testament to their commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, seeks to revolutionize the economic landscape, providing a blueprint to lift people out of poverty.

As part of their joint efforts to foster an Agenda for Sustainable Local and Community Economic Development across Nigeria, both organizations are set to initiate intervention schemes that will empower communities, steering them away from the shackles of economic hardship.

Owu Kingdom has been chosen as the pilot project location for this ambitious endeavor.

The project has also secured a Memorandum of Understanding with Oba Prof Saka Matemilola, the Olowu of Owu Kingdom, whose influence and resources will be harnessed to create a productive value chain, generating competitive outcomes both locally and internationally.

Recently, a delegation from Boiling Point Media, led by Dr. Ayo Arowojolu, and another team from Lead Resources, led by Kehinde Sogunle, convened at the palace of Oba Matemilola to finalize discussions on this transformative project.

Sogunle emphasized the urgent need for a dedicated economic action team to address the economic survival challenges faced by the people, given the shortcomings of successive governments.

He stressed the importance of focusing on local and community-driven economic solutions.

Oba Matemilola warmly welcomed the initiative, expressing his commitment to supporting the collaborative efforts, which he believes will uplift hundreds of his subjects from poverty.

The monarch revealed ongoing efforts by the palace leadership to leverage agriculture as a means to alleviate hardship among the people.

He stated, “Our common interest is for humanity. We must leave an impact behind and put smiles on people’s faces.”

In addition to these initiatives, the royal father mentioned his collaboration with experts from Rutgers University, the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of Maryland on community economic development projects beneficial to Owu communities.

The delegations included representatives from Boiling Point Media, Dr. Oluwatosin Oyetayo, and Mr. Gboyega Arikawe, and from Lead Resources, Mr. Oluranti Diyan, Mr. Obot Essiet, and Mr. Emmanuel Akinyemi.

This partnership marks a pivotal moment for the economic well-being of Owu communities, as they embark on a transformative journey towards prosperity.
