The Adamawa State Police Command has announced to the public that its operatives will conduct a one-day shooting range exercise at Counter Terrorism Unit base along Mubi Road, Girei Local Government Area.

The exercise is scheduled for Thursday, November 21, 2024, from 6 am to 6 pm.

The command, in a statement by its Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Nguroje, asks members of the public, especially those residing at Nas Radio Station, Sangere FUTY, Federal Housing, in Hayin Gada, to keep off the area.

The statement, released on Saturday evening, advised the public not to panic at the sound of shootings.

“Commissioner of Police Dankombo Morris appreciates the law-abiding people of Adamawa State for their understanding in this regard,” the statement said, assuring the public of Adamawa Police Command’s commitment to protecting lives and property.
