Operatives from the Ondo State Police Command have apprehended an Islamic cleric, Oluwafemi Idris, along with two other individuals, Oluawo and Babatunde Kayode, for allegedly being in possession of human body parts.

According to police reports, the suspects were found in possession of three human heads, along with other body parts, which they purportedly intended to use for ritualistic purposes.

The arrests came following information received from a reliable source, prompting law enforcement to take action.

Mrs. Funmilayo Odunlami, the Police Public Relations Officer for the state, shed light on the operation, stating that a search conducted at Idris’ residence in Akoko led to the discovery of the disturbing items.

PLATFORM TIMES reports that among the human parts found were hands, kidneys, hearts, spine, and a tongue.

Idris, who claimed to be an Islamic cleric, allegedly admitted to receiving some of the human parts from his friend, an Alhaji, and another individual named Samuel Kutelu.

Meanwhile, Oluawo and Babatunde Kayode were allegedly involved in receiving the three human heads.

PLATFORM TIMES reports that all three suspects, including Oluwafemi Idris, Oluawo, and Babatunde Kayode, have been arrested and are currently in custody pending further investigation into the disturbing case.
