Popular Pastor Allegedly Evicts Wife, Six Children Amidst Infidelity, Abuse Claims

Stanley Ogbonna, the General Overseer of God’s Spring Assembly, also known as Glass Church in Kubwa, Abuja, has come under intense scrutiny following allegations that he forcibly evicted his estranged wife, Chioma, and their six children from their home.

The accusations, which have garnered significant attention on social media, paint a troubling picture of domestic strife and alleged misconduct by the pastor.

The allegations surfaced in a viral video clip posted on Tuesday, in which Chioma accused Ogbonna of infidelity and domestic abuse.

She claimed that their marital issues had culminated in a divorce, following which Ogbonna took drastic measures to deny her a share of his wealth.

Chioma alleged that her husband told the court he had sold his properties to avoid splitting them as part of the divorce settlement.

“See him, God will help me. This is a pastor. Look at him. This is the pastor, Stanley Ogbonna. He called the police and evicted me and the children out of the house,” Chioma lamented in the video, pointing to her belongings scattered outside their residence.

Chioma recounted her ordeal, stating, “We were in the house this afternoon; he just came to the house with the police and threw my things away. He already packed his things out of the house for years, sleeping around.

Today, he has come to disgrace me after labouring with him for 18 years, 19 years.

See what the General Overseer of God’s Spring Assembly, Glass Church, Kubwa, is doing. I’m his wife, who laboured with him for 19 years.”

She appealed to the public and authorities for justice, emphasizing the hardship she and her children have faced.

“The world needs to come into this and give me justice for suffering me for all these years after giving him six children.

His last child is a four-year-old. Look at me outside and my properties. He feels nobody will speak for me. Jehovah will speak for me,” she added.

Efforts to reach Pastor Ogbonna and the Glass Church for comments on these serious allegations have so far been unsuccessful.

Calls to the church’s inquiry number were not answered, and emails sent to the church have not received a response at the time of filing this report.

The church had recently celebrated Ogbonna’s birthday on April 18 with an event titled “Happy Birthday in Perfect Grace,” which starkly contrasts with the current turmoil and accusations surrounding the pastor.
