In response to recent allegations levied by a group identifying itself as the Kaduna State Concerned PDP Youth, a Senator representing Kaduna North, Senator Lawal Usman Adamu, popularly known as Senator LA, has vehemently refuted claims of executing any clandestine agenda on behalf of Senate President, Godswill Akpabio in Kaduna North.

The senator’s office released a statement through the Senior Special Assistant (SSA), Media to the Senator, Segun Olatunji, described  the accusations as baseless and politically motivated.

The senator highlighted the dubious nature of the allegations, attributing them to disgruntled elements within the party who he said  opposed his candidacy during the primaries and subsequent elections.

The statement addressed the suspension and expulsion of Senator LA’s supporters by what he described as a “kangaroo disciplinary committee” orchestrated by his political adversari.

It emphasized the procedural irregularities and lack of due process in these actions, suggesting a calculated effort to undermine his influence within the party.

Furthermore, the senator dismissed claims of bribery directed at the Damagun-led National Working Committee, labeling them as malevolent attempts to tarnish his reputation.

He asserted his commitment to fulfilling his duties as a senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District and rejected any insinuations of impropriety.

The statement also highlighted procedural flaws in the handling of the Baba Kasim matter, emphasizing the need for adherence to party protocols and constitutional guidelines.

Senator LA  affirmed that he  is prepared to address these allegations comprehensively at the appropriate time.

Senator LA reiterated his dedication to serving his constituents and upholding the principles of transparency and accountability in his political endeavors.

The statement emphasized the senator’s readiness to confront any challenges to his integrity and credibility, reaffirming his commitment to the ideals of democracy and good governance.

The senator’s response underscores the intensity of political rivalries within the PDP in Kaduna State and the broader implications for party cohesion and internal stability.
