Ademola Lookman has insisted that it is important for the Super Eagles to show more consistency.
The Super Eagles are unbeaten in the qualifiers for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations with three wins and one draw from four games.
It’s a remarkable contrast from their struggles in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers where they are yet to record a win after four games
Lookman said it is important for the team to keep improving on their performance.
“We’ve shown good performances as a team in these AFCON qualifiers and now we need to do better on a consistent basis,” the Atalanta star told 54footballx.
“We’ve won two games and drawn one game, so we will continue in this manner, and try to win our games.
“Obviously the goal is to qualify for the AFCON and World Cup, so we are looking to do those things.”
