Turkey: Osimhen’s brace sinks Samsunspor
Victor Osimhen continued his impressive form by scoring a brace in Galatasaray’s 3-2 home win over Samsunspor on Sunday.
DAILY POST recalls the 25-year-old also netted twice in Galatasaray’s 3-0 victory over Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday.
Osimhen opened scoring for the title holders with a superb header after three minutes.
Cameroonian midfielder, Olivier Ntcham equalised for the visitors from the spot five minutes after the break.
Galatasaray regained the lead five minutes later courtesy of another header from Osimhen.
The Nigeria international has now scored eight goals and registered four assists in nine appearances for Okan Buruk’s side.
Substitute Michy Batshuayi scored the third goal for the home team five minutes from time.
Youssef Bennasser reduced the deficit for Samsunspor in stoppage time.
