In a recent development, authorities in Ekiti State have confirmed the apprehension of twin brothers, Olasoji Kehinde and Olasoji Taiwo, on charges of burglary.
According to the Ekiti State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Sunday Abutu, the twins were caught red-handed attempting to break into a shop located on Mathew Street, Odo-Ado, Ado-EKITI.
Following their arrest, the suspects confessed to their involvement in the crime.
They admitted to burgling three shops at Fayemi Market, Agric Olope, Ado-Ekiti, where they made away with a significant amount of goods, including two bags of rice, two bags of beans, and other items valued at N936,750.00.
Subsequent investigations conducted by the Command Rapid Response Squad led to the apprehension of two more individuals, Afolayan Funke and Nnaji Benignus Aroh.
The suspects claimed that Funke and Aroh had been actively receiving stolen goods from them.
