In a festive spirit and in adherence to its annual tradition of rewarding customer loyalty, United Bank for Africa Plc (UBA), Africa’s Global Bank, recently distributed over N36 million in cash prizes during the UBA Super Savers Draws.

The winners were unveiled in a transparent draw held at the Tony Elumelu Amphitheatre, UBA House, on Thursday.

The event was graced by members of the press, as well as representatives from the Federal Consumer Protection Council and the National Lottery Regulatory Commission.

The top honoree of the day was Fabian Matthew Okon, a UBA Bumper account holder, who walked away with the grand prize of N10 million.

Following closely was Abiodun Joseph Aduramigba, securing the N5 million star prize, while Kahalla Mohammed clinched the N1.8 million rent-for-a-year cash award.

Additionally, ten fortunate savings and current account holders were each awarded N1 million.

Monica Onuzurike, a bumper account holder, was presented with a N500,000 shopping voucher.

In a separate category, 15 Kiddies and Teens account holders, along with four individuals, received N200,000 each.

Furthermore, 10 UBA Next Gen account holders were delighted to each win N180,000 as pocket money.

The celebration continued with 35 winners of N100,000 each, making the total number of beneficiaries 74.

Expressing his gratitude, the N10 million jackpot winner, Fabian Matthew Okon, conveyed his happiness and appreciation to UBA, saying, “Thank you UBA, I am very happy.”

UBA’s Head of Retail Banking, Prince Ayewoh, extended his congratulations to all 74 winners and encouraged others to continue saving, emphasizing the bank’s commitment to regular rewarding.

He stated, “The Super Savers Draw is not just a moment to reward our savers; it’s a celebration of the strong bond that we share with you.”

Ayewoh also revealed that UBA would be launching new ventures and initiatives in 2024 to enhance customer experience, promising innovative products, improved services, and exclusive offerings tailored to address evolving needs, particularly for senior citizens.

United Bank for Africa Plc stands as a leading Pan-African financial institution, serving more than 25 million customers across 1,000 business offices and customer touch points in 20 African countries.
