In a dedicated effort to elevate the quality of life for rural inhabitants, Yewa North Local Government Area of Ogun State has inaugurated a series of transformative projects.

Among the notable achievements are a new block of three classrooms in Yewa Disu, the renovation of 12 units of lock-up shops at Ayetoro market, the construction of 12 lock-up shops equipped with restroom facilities at Dangote-Ibese, and the establishment of a four-bedroom maternity facility with essential amenities at Imoto-Yewa.

The commissioning ceremony, which marks the second anniversary of the current administration in the Local Government, was graced by Hon. Gabriel Ogunyomi, the Chairman, who expressed his unwavering commitment to delivering further dividends of democracy.

He emphasized the importance of providing developmental social amenities that enhance the well-being of residents, making their lives more meaningful.

Hon. Ogunyomi extended his gratitude to the State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, the executive council members of the Local Government, as well as traditional and religious leaders for their invaluable support in achieving these milestones.

He pledged to embark on additional developmental projects throughout the locality before the conclusion of his tenure and urged residents to continue supporting the administration by promptly paying their levies.

Former Majority Leader of Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon. David Kojeku, and Local Government All Progressive Party Chairman, Chief Kunle Adeosun, both lauded Hon.

Ogunyomi’s administration for its resolute determination and remarkable accomplishments within two years in office.

Furthermore, the Baales (local chieftains) of Yewa-Disu, Imoto-Yewa, and Aluhan Ihanbe, along with Iya Loja General, Ogun State Alhaja Yemisi Abass, represented by Mrs. Labake Bankole, praised the selection of projects, recognizing their potential to directly improve the well-being of the people.
