Former Italy international, Antonio Cassano has slammed Cristiano Ronaldo, saying the Portuguese icon does not know how to play football.
Cassano said this on the Viva El Futbol podcast, insisting that the likes of Gonzalo Higuain, Sergio Aguero, Luis Suarez, and Zlatan Ibrahimović are better strikers than the former Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus star.
He said, via GOAL, “Cristiano Ronaldo doesn’t know how to play football. He could score 3000 goals, I don’t give a f*ck.
“[Gonzalo] Higuain, [Sergio] Aguero, [Karim] Benzema, [Robert] Lewandowski, [Zlatan] Ibrahimovic and [Luis] Suarez knew how to link-up with the team.
“They knew how to do a lot of things, unlike Ronaldo whose only objective has always been to score.”
DAILY POST recalls that Cassano had in 2022 stated that the Al Nassr striker should retire when he was relegated to the bench at Manchester United.
