A fierce clash has erupted between Mai Nore’s gang and the Buzaro terrorist group in the Dan-Ali area of Dan-Musa Local Government Area of Katsina State.
Zagazola Makama, a Lake Chad Basin counterterrorism and insurgency expert, made this known on Wednesday in a post on his X handle.
Makama said that intelligence sources told him that the confrontation resulted in heavy casualties on both sides.
He stated that more than 20 bodies were reportedly left at the scene.
“Another eyewitness described the battle as intense, with prolonged gunfire echoing through the area,” the security expert added.
