UCL: Top three in my career – Arsenal’s Raya reacts to double save against Atalanta

Arsenal goalkeeper, David Raya has reacted to his double save against Atalanta in the UEFA Champions League.

Raya was the hero for Arsenal, as he produced a stunning double save to deny Mateo Retegui from the penalty.

The match ended in a 0-0 draw in Bergamo on Thursday night.

Reacting, Raya said his double save that secured a point against Atalanta was one of the best three he has made in his career.

“I saved it and then I was lucky enough to get up again and get the rebound, and then luckily enough, Declan I think it was, managed to kick the ball for a corner, so obviously I’m delighted with the double save,” Raya was quoted by Arsenal’s website as saying after the game.

“I think this one is one of the top three in my career. Of course, the Aston Villa got us to win the game and everything so that is a little bit more special, but doing it in the Champions League is a dream.”
