Remo Stars goalkeeper, Serge Obassa has received a call-up to the Benin Republic national team, DAILY POST reports.
Remo Stars confirmed Obassa’s invitation on the social media.
“Obassa Adebiyi has received a call-up to the Benin Republic squad for this month’s 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifying matches.” Remo Stars wrote on X.
“Congratulations, Obassa – we’re proud of you.”
The Cheetahs will face Nigeria and Libya in a 2025 Africa Cup of qualifiers later in the month.
Obassa has been on an impressive form for Remo Stars in the 2024-25 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, season.
