Chairman, Central Planning Committee and the Secretary to the State Government, Arc. Samuel Jatau hosting of the event was part of Governor Caleb Mutfwang’s efforts to promote peace, unity and tourism in the state.

Speaking at the festival, former Head of State Gen. Gowon commended the Plateau State Government for organising the first Interdenominational Unity Christmas Carols and Praise Festival.

Gen. Gowon emphasised the importance of prayer, unity and peace, not only in Plateau State but Nigeria and the world at large.
