….As Foundation baged humanitarian award
The Chief Executive Officer of Pelican Valley Nigeria Limited, Ambassador (Dr) Babatunde Adeyemo has described the establishment of Oko Opo Foundation, a organization supporting widows, orphans, and vulnerable members of society, as his self actualization.
Ambassador (Dr) Adeyemo made this known during the weekend in Abeokuta when he received Humanitarian Award of the Year for the foundation by Beauty of Aging Initiative and Infolite Books.
He Said ” Oko Opo Foundation is my own self actualization state, nothing gives my joy more than touching lives and building institutions, the foundation is one of my life-long ambitions and covenant with my creator. Its a programme i am planning to integrate my generations yet unborn into, God’s willing”
The foundation, founded in 2023 was recognized for her dedication to supporting widows, orphans, and vulnerable members of society through empowerment, welfare support, and long-term development initiatives.
The award was presented during a public lecture on mental health of Senior Citizens: Our Roles, which brought stakeholders, media practitioners, students together at the Press Center, Iwe Royin.
The convener and publisher of INFOLITENEWS, Olamilekan Jaji described Ambassador (Dr) Adeyemo as compassionate personality who delights in making other people happy, no matter the class or age bracket.
He said the award is a call for Oko Opo Foundation to do more for humanity, as the society is looking forward to her annual outreach on 26th of December 2025.
