Four pupils of a Primary school in Abeokuta the Ogun State Capital, have been caught in acts of occultic initiation.

PLATFORM TIMES exclusively gathered that the discovery was made Immediately after the school assembly on Wednesday.

A community member who suspected use of foul and occultic languages by the Pupils traced them to school and discovered that they were four involved.

During interrogation three of the pupils pointed out their leader who had been carrying out the initiation by teaching them the languages and also beating them as part of the initiation projects.

The boys revealed that they would go to a secluded area, sometimes a bush to engage in their acts.

Narrating to the headmistress, the community member said, “I observed that some of these children are communicating in an unusual language even language too hard for me to understand. One of them had been reported several times by the step mother. This one (pointing at one of the pupils) plays with sand and the mother could freak out if she hears this.”

The pupils were made to crawl for about 30 minutes while an NSCDC official and a So-safe corp gave strict warnings and promised to monitor the boys.

The NSCDC official showed them videos and pictures of how people involve in cultism were killed.

PLATFORM TIMES recalled that earlier this year, investigations had revealed that pupils and teenagers in Ogun, Akwa- Ibom, Lagos, Bayelsa among others were arrested by gathered security operatives.

The Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun had in 2022, lamented that cultism had crept into primary schools in the state and Nigeria.

He lamented the situation where children in primary schools are now involved in cultism.

While it is unclear the State government’s effort in this regard, the governor had urged parents to be good custodians of their children.

“As parents, we need to do our best by guiding them in the right way. Let us ask questions when necessary and ensure that our children, who are our future, are led rightly”, the governor admonished.
