A Federal Law Marker, Representing Isoko North and South in the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Ajirioghene Jonathan Ukodhiko has expressed optimism that the newly inaugurated Delta state Commissioners will offer purposeful leadership support to complement the vision of the state government MORE agenda.

The Federal Law Marker spoke yesterday at Asaba during an interview with newsmen while revealing the readiness of the state government to hit the ground running

He said, “You can see the calibre of commissioners in the various cabinets, you see they are ready to hit the ground running, the mixture is a wonderful team that consists of old and the new”.

He added that “the state governor painstakingly looked at those calibres and consulted all the party and the stakeholders are involved in the process for him to be able to come up with the list”.

He maintained that “the newly inaugurated commissioners are men who have been tested, and I believe they will offer purposeful leadership to support the vision of the governor to deliver dividends of democracy to our people”.

On the additional N10,000, to Delta Workers, the law marker noted that that amount won’t be enough, adding that the process is continuous, the government has come up with some palliative which they are going to implement”

Adding that “even those of us that are political leaders, we are going to see how we can cushion the effect, we can also roll out some palliatives to support whatever the government is doing”.

He noted that “poverty can never be eliminated overnight, but it is a good thing that both state and federal government have started, and we believe that with time everything will go well”.

He, however, called on Deltans to exercise patience, and give all the necessary support to RT. Hon. Sheriff Oborewori’s government says that he means well to all.
