In a heartbreaking turn of events, a young Nigerian lady, whose identity remains undisclosed, tragically lost her life while on board an Egypt Air flight en route to London, United Kingdom.

The unfortunate incident unfolded as the lady embarked on her journey from Nigeria to London, traveling via Egypt Air flight MS 876 from Cairo, departing from the Murtala Muhammad International Airport (MMIA) in Lagos. Regrettably, her life came to an untimely end during the flight.

A family source, deeply affected by the tragedy, confirmed the heartbreaking incident.

The family was left in the dark, as the airline failed to provide any information regarding the incident.

Instead, they received a message from the consular office in Cairo, Egypt, notifying them of her sudden demise on board the flight.

Desperate for answers and assistance in repatriating the deceased’s remains to Nigeria, a source close to the grieving family pleaded, “Please, they need to know what exactly happened and how to get her corpse back to Nigeria.”

It was revealed that the young Nigerian lady held a student visa and was en route to London via Egypt Air, connecting to her final destination. She was scheduled to continue her journey to London on Egypt Air flight MS 777 the following day.

As of the time of reporting, there had been no response from Egypt Air. A source connected to the airline disclosed that they were awaiting information from Cairo concerning the tragic incident.

This heart-wrenching incident underscores the need for transparent and compassionate communication from airlines in cases of such unfortunate events, as grieving families seek answers and closure during difficult times.
