In a landmark moment for youth empowerment, Accurate Creative Minds Foundation (ACMF) has perfected plans to unveil its highly anticipated Development Center in Kuto, Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, on Saturday, the 20th of January, 2024.
This eagerly awaited event promises to be a celebration of ACMF’s commitment to fostering positive change in the community through impactful initiatives.
Media Consultant to the foundation,Jamiu Folarin in a statement described the founder, Babatunde Odedele, a distinguished medical entrepreneur, as a catalyst for positive change since its inception.
He said the foundation’s journey, marked by impactful initiatives, is poised to reach new heights with the formal opening of the Development Centre.
Speaking on the past achievements,Folarin said ACMF duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), has successfully executed various programmes, beginning with the Essay Writing Competition in October 2022.
He added that this event attracted participants from Lagos, Oyo, and Ogun states, providing an enriching platform for students to showcase their talents.
According to him, in January 2023, ACMF organized a highly successful workshop on seminar and project report writing, engaging students from various tertiary institutions in Ogun State.
He stated that the foundation demonstrated its commitment to academic excellence by granting N20,000 each to the top five students, with others receiving N5,000 each.
He said approximately, 30 participants were registered and certified during this enriching event.
He said ACMF expanded its outreach through “Webinar Wednesdays,” a series of webinars addressing critical topics such as legal awareness campaigns, safety awareness, and challenges within the Nigerian educational system.
A webinar on Fire Safety Management in collaboration with the Ogun State Fire Service in October and November 2023 showcased ACMF’s dedication to addressing pressing issues and fostering partnerships for societal betterment.
“On the 11th January 2024, the foundation paid a courtesy visit to the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), warmly welcomed by the State Commander CN Ibiba Jane Odili and her management team.
“During the visit, Commander CN Ibiba Jane Odili presented souvenirs to ACMF, and in reciprocation, ACMF presented her with an award plaque.
The foundation briefed the NDLEA team on their vision, mission, past activities, and future plans. Commander CN Ibiba Jane Odili pledged her support in the campaign against drug abuse and expressed her enthusiasm for promoting a reading culture among youths.”
The theme of the launching of the ACMF Development Centre is “The Significant Roles of Youth Development Centre in the Economic Advancement of the Nation.”
He said the ceremony will feature Elizabeth Amodu, the General Manager of the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library Youth Development Centre, Abeokuta, as the keynote speaker.
Abiodun Oladimeji Lasile, DL Orunto, Owu Kingdom, and Founder/Coordinator of Sixth Sense Initiative will deliver the Guest Lecture while Dr M. O. Fadeyi, Chief Medical Director, Lekfad Medical Centre, Abeokuta, will be the Guest of Honour. TPL AbdurRahman Anifowose Kewulere of Zakat and Sadaqat Foundation will be the Moderator.
The Chairman of the occasion is Engineer AbdulGafar Majekodunmi, Chairman of Mahjeck Global Services and Consults, and Koye Comedia will serve as the Master of Ceremony.
The inauguration ceremony promises to be a convergence of influential figures, dignitaries, and the media, marking a monumental milestone in ACMF’s dedication to providing holistic support for the creative potential within each young mind.
Situated at Central Suite, 3rd floor, Imran Taiwo Rockview Complex, Opposite Polaris Bank, Kuto, Abeokuta, the ACMF Development Centre promises to be a transformative hub for youth development.
