Lady threatening to poison Yoruba, Bini not speaking for Igbos – Shehu Sani, Igbokwe

Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, on Friday said the Nigerian lady based in Canada, Amaka Sunnberger, spoke for herself and not for the Igbos.

Sunnberger had threatened to poison Yorubas and Benin people in Canada during a TikTok conversation.

However, Sani said Sunnberger’s hateful, toxic and genocidal comments were a reflection of herself.

Posting on X, the former lawmaker wrote: “I believe that the Canada based woman spoke on behalf of herself and herself alone and should be treated as such. She owns her hateful, toxic and genocidal statements.”

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Joe Igbokwe echoed Sani’s stance.

Igbokwe said Sunnberger does not speak for Igbos when she threatened to poison the Yorubas and Edo people.

He posted on Facebook: “Amaka does not speak for Igbo I know. She is speaking for herself. We did not send her to speak for Igbo.

“The blind, the deaf and the dumb cannot lead the people who can see, people who can hear and those who can talk. They cannot speak for us. Attention seekers and clout chasers with nothing to bring to the table cannot represent us.

“They speak before they think. Simply put, they are meddlesome interlopers, all noise and no substance full of sound and fury signifying nothing. So that you know.”
