The Police Command in Lagos State, says it has arrested a suspected fake soldier, who had been declared wanted by the military. The command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who confirmed the arrest to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Sunday, said the suspect was arrested on Saturday at about 3.00 p.m. in Ijegun area of Lagos. In the early hours of Sunday, policemen attached to the Lagos Rapid Response Squad thwarted an audacious attempt to hijack their patrol bike in Ikeja. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA)  says it has made significant strides in curbing drug trafficking,saying,  it recently apprehended two suspects involved in illicit drug activities in Oniwaya, Yaba, and Agege areas of Lagos State. Identified as Monday Okeke and Chigozie Emeka, the suspects were apprehended on Tuesday, March 26, according to a statement by Femi Babafemi, the NDLEA Director of Media and  Advocacy.
