In a recent twist of events, Afrobeats sensation Davido has fired back at Amaju Pinnick, the former president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), after allegations surfaced regarding his absence from a paid event in Warri, where he was slated to perform.

The controversy began when Amaju Pinnick accused Davido of failing to honor his commitment to the 19th edition of ‘Warri Again,’ despite having received a substantial fee of $94,600.

During this event, Pinnick also suggested that Burna Boy, with his Itsekiri heritage, might be a more prominent figure in Nigerian music.

Davido, known for his unapologetic demeanor, responded firmly through a statement issued via his official platform.

He asserted, “Nobody can stop me from performing anywhere in Nigeria… Warri, I will see you soon.” With these words, the ‘FEM’ hitmaker sent a clear message that he considers himself an unstoppable force in the Nigerian music scene.

The ongoing feud between Davido and Pinnick has captured the attention of music enthusiasts and fans alike, sparking debates about who truly holds the title of Nigeria’s biggest artist.

While both artists boast impressive careers, it seems Davido is determined to maintain his reign as an unstoppable performer on the Nigerian stage.

As the music industry continues to evolve, it remains to be seen whether this feud will escalate or eventually find resolution.

In the meantime, fans eagerly await Davido’s next performance in Warri, which is sure to draw substantial attention and scrutiny from music enthusiasts nationwide.
