Delta State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice , Mr. Isaiah Bozimo has said that the State Case Repository System Website would serve as a platform for the public to access all judgements.

Bozimo stated this in Asaba during the lunch of the website project.

He said that the website was a demonstration of the State Government’s commitment to ensure that the residents have access to the documents that governed the set rules on the way the Ministry carried out its activities.

While saying that the initiative was aimed at ensuring transparency, Mr. Bozimo also disclosed that the website would enable the people to access executive orders.

He said that it was a further step to broaden the initiative of his Ministry’s reforms, adding that it would set legacies for years to come.

Bozimo , who hinted that the website was open to all , noted that the Ministry of Justice had set up a unit that would be responsible for the uploading of judgements, adding that a special unit would take care of technical problems.

Also, the Judge of the State High Court, Hon Justice Godwin Briki- Okolosi said that the website would enable the public to see all judgements, emphasizing that it was a place to visit for researching of judgements .

On his part, the technical consultant on the Case Law Repository System Project, Mr. Oscar Ekponimo, explained that they were the engineering consultants of the project, saying that they built the case law repository system for the State Ministry of Justice.

He stated that the system would allow the Ministry of Justice to catalog and publish judgements from 1991 to date and urged the public to log on to www caselaw.moj.Delta.gov.ng to access the website..
