    Lagos House Help Stabs Employer To Death

    A woman has been brutally stabbed to death by her house help on Kiniun-Ifa Street, Sawmill Gbagada area of Lagos state.

    The unfortunate incident happened just seven days after the house help, identified as Peter, resumed work.

    The perpetrator reportedly fled the scene, leaving behind a trail of confusion.
    Authorities have arrested a relative of the agent who introduced Peter to the household, as the main agent remains elusive.

    Details surrounding the timeline of the murder remain unclear, with reports suggesting the victim’s son discovered her lifeless body on March 9, 2024, during a visit.

    According to eyewitnesses, the gruesome scene indicated that the crime might have occurred days before, as the victim’s body showed signs of decomposition.

    Speaking on condition of anonymity, a resident in the area recounted the harrowing discovery:

    “The woman’s son, upon arriving at the compound, went straight to his mother’s apartment only to find her lifeless body on the staircase, with blood all over.

    “A long piece of wood suspected to be the murder weapon was also found.”

    Benjamin Hundeyin, the spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, revealed that both the house help and the relative of the agent have been apprehended.

    They have since been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department at Panti for further investigation into the heinous crime.
