The Association of Nigeria Broadcasters (ANBROAD), Ogun State Chapter, has pledged to strengthen collaboration with the Ogun State Police Command on security and information management.
The association’s leadership, led by its governor, Comrade Gbenga Goke-Fadiran, alongside the National Vice President 1, Comrade Akinyemi Titus Olatoye (Alawiye Federation), and other state executives, paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Police, Lanre Ogunlowo, to discuss ways of enhancing security reportage and public awareness.
During the visit, the group commended the police chief for his efforts in tackling criminal hideouts and improving the security of lives and properties across the state.
ANBROAD reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with the police in disseminating information about law enforcement activities and public safety initiatives.
In his response, CP Ogunlowo acknowledged the critical role of the media in shaping public perception and fostering security consciousness.
He assured the delegation of the command’s continued dedication to ridding the state of criminal elements and promised a genuine partnership with the media body.
