    Daud Olatunji

In a swift response to the arrest of Lateef Olaniyan, a Mathematics teacher accused of raping two young girls within 24 hours, the National President of Ebenezer Grammar School’s Old Students Association (EGSOSA), Tajudeen Olori, has vehemently distanced the school from the alleged perpetrator’s heinous actions.

Contrary to circulating misinformation on social media, Olori clarified that the victims were not students of Ebenezer Grammar School, assuaging the fears of parents and stakeholders regarding the safety of students within the institution.

Expressing dismay at Olaniyan’s conduct, Olori disclosed that the suspect had been previously reported for erratic behavior, emphasizing that the alleged rape did not occur within the school premises.

Addressing the public’s concerns, he asserted, “EGSA of today is a school of high morals and educational standards.”

Calling for swift action, Olori urged the immediate suspension of Olaniyan pending the conclusion of the investigation, and emphatically requested that the accused teacher not be allowed to return to Ebenezer Grammar School.

The alumni association vowed to uphold the institution’s reputation and ensure a commitment to the safety and well-being of its students.
