PDP ward exco suspends Women Leader in Kogi

The People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Kogi State has suspended it Women Leader in Ogori Magongo LGA, Mrs Esther Soje.

A suspension letter signed by Yusuf Suleiman, Ward Chairman of Otaru/Opowu Ward Magongo, Ogori Magongo LGA, who copied the state chairman of the party, said the Women Leader was suspended in line with sections 58(1), 59(2) and 4 of the party’s constitution as amended.

The PDP Ward Executives of Otaru Opowu Ward said Soje was suspended indefinitely for violating section 58(1) of the party’s constitution.

According to the letter, the suspension takes effect from 12th October, 2024.

The letter said the suspension became essential so as not to allow Soje destroy the party and the fragile peace that is being enjoyed in Ogori Magongo LGA.



The letter of suspension was signed by Yusuf Suleiman, Chairman, Yunusa Balogun, Vice Chairman and Isaq Adamu, Secretary.
