Rangers technical adviser, Fidelis Ilechukwu has warned his players to expect a tough battle with El-Kanemi Warriors in their opening fixture of the 2024/25 season.
The Flying Antelopes will trade tackle with the Borno Army at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium on Saturday.
Ilechukwu is confident of victory in the game.
“We are fully focus on our first league match this week at home against El-Kanemi Warriors,” Ilechukwu told Nigerian players Gallary.
“It’s going to be a tough game, but i doesn’t fear them, I will beat them at the cathedral.
“I trust my boys, we are the league champions, we NEVER SAY DIE.”
Rangers won the NPFL title for the eighth time last season.
