Former President Muhammadu Buhari has lauded the efforts of President Bola Tinubu, expressing appreciation for the strides made since Tinubu assumed office on May 29, 2023.

Buhari conveyed his commendation during a meeting with the Comptroller-General and members of the management team of the Nigeria Customs Service in Daura, Katsina State.

Speaking about Tinubu’s performance, Buhari acknowledged the intricacies of Nigeria’s multifaceted system, emphasizing the challenges faced by those in positions of power.

The former President recognized the difficulty in managing the diverse phases of the country’s structure.

“I thank you very much for coming. I very much appreciate it. I thought Tinubu has done very well. Nigeria is so complex. Really, there isn’t much anybody can do,” Buhari stated.

While recognizing the complexities, Buhari urged Nigerians to endure the economic challenges the country is facing.

He also called for support for the current administration’s policies and programs, emphasizing the collective responsibility in navigating the intricate landscape of Nigeria’s governance.

This commendation from Buhari sheds light on the acknowledgment of the intricate nature of Nigeria’s challenges and recognizes the efforts of those in leadership roles, particularly highlighting President Tinubu’s performance.
