Five years after a fake herbal mixture factory began operation at Adebola, Ibadan, Oyo State, the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control has uncovered the factory The factory which produced a concoction meant for the treatment of malaria, body ache and hypertension, among others was on Friday sealed off. Four fuel attendants were, on Friday, arraigned before a Magistrate’ Court sitting in Yaba over alleged conspiracy and theft of N17 million at a filling station in Ikeja, Lagos State. The defendants – Stephen Enemi, 29; Juliana Onumajuru, 41; Chioma Opara, 20; and Odebunmi Olakekan, 23 – whose addresses were not given, pleaded not guilty to a three-count charge of conspiracy, theft, and conduct likely to cause breach of peace. The Chairman of board of the Niger Delta Development Commission, Lauretta Onochie has made a shocking revelation, saying , the management currently operates 367 accounts against the dictates of the Treasury Single Accounts (TSA). Onochie who was appointed few months said all these accounts are in foreign exchange (FOREX). She also accused the Managing Director, Samuel Ogbuku, and the entire management team of running the commission in breach of financial regulations.
