Aminat Gusanu A baby suspected to be only two days old was found abandoned within the premises of the Internally Displaced Persons camp in Uhogua, Ovia South West Local Government Area of Edo State. The Coordinator of the camp, Pastor Solomon Folorunsho, disclosed this to newsmen on Friday, stating that the baby was in dire need of breast milk. No fewer than 3.25 million complaints over outrageous billings among others have been made by customers to the electricity distribution companies, also known as DisCos within five years. An Ondo monarch, the Ajagun-Ode of Ode community, Oba Adewale Boboye has been sentenced to 10 years imprisonment for unlawfully demolishing palm trees and food crops. An Osi Magistrate Court, in Akure North council area of Ondo state who was sentenced had earlier been charged with malicious damage. A 40-year-old Lagos pastor, David Ihejirika, has been arraigned before the Magistrates’ Court sitting in Ojo, Lagos State, for allegedly defrauding a woman of N1.1 million. Ihejirika, who was arraigned before the court on Friday, was charged with obtaining money by false pretence, causing a breach of peace and theft. He, however, pleaded “not guilty” to the charge.
