A Zoology student at the University of Ilorin, Miss Moyosore Bright, had a narrow escape from abductors after boarding a “Korope” minibus from campus.  Reports indicate that she was rendered unconscious by the driver but later found herself in the outskirts of Ilorin after regaining consciousness. In a significant operation, troops from the Joint Task Force, Operation Hadarin, have apprehended three suspected gun runners in Zamfara State.  Among those arrested is Aminu Ibrahim, alleged to be the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Ward Chairman for Birnin Yero Ward in the Shinkafi local government area.
